Graduate Design Engineer

The Role Available:

As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, assisting in the design, development, and implementation of solar PV and Battery Energy Storage

System (BESS) solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain handson experience in renewable energy design and project execution while contributing to impactful, sustainable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the engineering team in creating comprehensive designs, including detailed

drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and documentation.

• Assist with site evaluations and feasibility assessments to identify optimal solar

installation configurations.

• Participate in project development activities, including system sizing, equipment

selection, and design optimization.

• Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases, under the

guidance of design engineers.

• Assist in planning and executing regular maintenance on solar PV and BESS plants,

including scheduling cleaning of systems, repairing equipment, and addressing potential issues.

• Monitor and analyse system performance data to identify and address factors impacting efficiency and reliability.

• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to your work.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field.

• Familiarity with PV design software such as PVSol, PVSyst, or Helioscope (experience is an advantage but not mandatory).

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting software.

• A strong interest in renewable energy systems, particularly solar PV and BESS.

• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in system design, equipment selection, and project execution.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• A commitment to honesty, hard work, and a passion for renewable energy.

• Valid Driver’s License.
