Our client in the outdoor advertising sector is seeking a talented and dedicated Operations Administration Manager responsible for overseeing all landlord leases/contracts that billboards and other infrastructure are on. This will also include management of licenses for County sites. The role ensures business growth and continuity through the availability of billboard sites.
Responsibilities:
Landlord Management
- Management of all landlord leases/contracts to ensure validity and that any amendments are well-documented for reference.
- Ensuring that landlord invoices are received in time and payments are made within the agreed timeline.
- Ensuring that landlord leases/contracts are renewed 3 months before expiry.
- Manage the licensing process for structures with county governments and relevant regulatory authorities.
- Timely renewal of all County licenses and maintain a database of all County payments.
- Maintain a database of all County licenses.
- Maintain updated knowledge of licensing requirements across different counties in Kenya.
- Maintain a database of all billboard sites and those available for sale.
- Communication of sites available to the Outdoor Sales team.
- Have a database of flights expiring and communicate this to the Outdoor Sales team.
- Planning of all billboard flights.
Coordination and Reporting
- Closely working with the field sales team, who have direct liaison with the local authorities and landlords.
- Keep senior management updated on critical developments in licensing, leases/contracts, and rate changes.
- Prepare and present regular reports on contracts and licensing status.
- Engage with county officials, regulators, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field, legal, project management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, licensing, or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of county licensing processes and regulations in Kenya.
- Strong understanding of County legal process, specifically Finance Bills.
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
