The overall purpose of this role is to support the Editorial Desk in reviewing all news content from the team and ensuring that it aligns with the editorial guidelines provided before posting and publishing across the organization’s various platforms, such as the website and social media sites. This role also involves providing leadership and direction to the editorial team and building the overall readership engagement through continuous engagement with the audience and collaboration with other stakeholders.
Digital News Correspondent
This role involves researching, producing and writing compelling, factual, timely and engaging news content in line with the organization’s editorial policies.
Digital Content Creator
Responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative, compelling, and engaging video content in line with the ethical and editorial guidelines provided by The Kenya Times.
Social Media Manager
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement impactful social media content that is aimed at online community growth, brand loyalty and ultimately service growth by combining focusing on solution-based journalism via the editorial team.
Asst. Social Media Manager
The purpose of this role is to support the Social Media Manager in developing and implementing impactful social media content that is aimed at online community growth, brand loyalty, and ultimately service growth by combining focusing on solution-based journalism via the editorial team.
Presenter/Reporter
Responsible for researching, reporting, and presenting factual, timely, and compelling news stories across the organization’s digital platforms in a fair and unbiased manner.
