Job Summary: The client is looking for a qualified Group
General Manager to join their team and help run operations of the Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment company, a school and innovation hub.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational
Leadership: Oversee daily
business operations, making pivotal decisions to ensure organizational
effectiveness and compliance with legal standards. Develop and implement
operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and
productivity.

HR
Management: Develop and
implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business
strategy. Manage the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes. Oversee
all HR functions, including employee relations, training, and
development.
·
Performance
Management: Design and
apply effective performance management strategies that drive business success
while ensuring employee development and satisfaction. Conduct performance
reviews, provide constructive feedback, and develop strategies to boost
employee productivity.

Compliance
and Standards: Ensure
adherence to labor laws, occupational health and safety standards, and other
regulatory requirements. Handle employee relations issues and resolve
conflicts to maintain a positive workplace culture.

Strategic
Planning: Participate in
strategic planning and decision-making at the senior management level to
improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with department
heads to set performance targets and KPIs.

Reporting
and Documentation:
Prepare detailed reports on HR costs, performance metrics, and other key data
points for review by senior management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date
documentation of HR processes and employee records.

Stakeholder
Engagement: Engage with
various stakeholders, including senior management, external partners, and
employees, to align on business goals and HR policies. Foster strong
relationships to support organizational objectives.

Team
Leadership: Lead and
mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide
guidance and support to team members, promoting continuous learning and
professional development.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in business
administration, Human Resources, Management, Environmental
Science, or a related
field.
● Minimum of 10 years of
experience in a managerial role, ideally within the waste management or
environmental sector.
● Strong leadership and
interpersonal skills with a proven track record in performance
management and HR
functions.
● Excellent communication and
organizational skills.
● Ability to work in a dynamic
and fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
● Master’s degree in a related
field.
● Experience in the e-waste
management industry.
● Certification in HR or
Performance Management.
