Position Overview:

As a Security Manager, you will support the organization by providing strategic oversight and operational guidance on travel security, geopolitical risk, and emergency response across projects and global operations. Your role includes advising on risk mitigation, coordinating security responses, and ensuring the safety of personnel operating in diverse and high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve travel security policies and procedures to support safe domestic and international travel, including project deployments.
  • Conduct security risk assessments for travel destinations and project locations and provide clear recommendations and mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor geopolitical developments, travel advisories, and global security threats, ensuring timely communication of risks affecting personnel and operations.
  • Deliver pre-travel and pre-deployment security briefings covering local context, cultural awareness, threat identification, and emergency procedures.
  • Coordinate with external security providers, government authorities, and evacuation partners to obtain intelligence and support operational security initiatives.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with traveling and deployed personnel to enhance situational awareness and ensure rapid response to emerging risks.
  • Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, including civil unrest, threats, natural disasters, and emergency situations, including evacuation support where required.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and debriefings to capture lessons learned and strengthen security protocols and preparedness.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in security processes, risk management strategies, and operational readiness.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in security management, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in security management, with a focus on travel security, risk advisory, or project deployment support.
  • Demonstrated experience in security risk assessment, incident response, and crisis management.
  • Experience working in international or high-risk environments is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of geopolitical risks and global security trends.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capability.
  • Ability to work independently, manage sensitive information, and operate effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage reporting and documentation.
  • Flexibility to travel and support global operations, including high-risk locations.
