Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with NEMA, DOSHS, NCA, County Government, and other regulatory authorities.
- Support acquisition, renewal, and monitoring of project permits and licenses.
- Manage relationships with community leaders, local authorities, and neighboring property owners.
- Handle site-related complaints, disputes and community grievances.
- Support communication.
- Assist HR and Safety teams with site inductions, Toolbox Talks and workforce coordination.
- Support labor relations and subcontractor coordination.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Kenyan labor, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Administration, Business, HR or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in liaison, public relations, site administration, or a related role within construction, infrastructure, or civil engineering.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Professional fluency in English and Swahili. Knowledge of the Chinese language is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Kenyan statutory, labor, environmental, and occupational safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced construction environment.
