Location: Ngong Road, Nairobi
Job Purpose
To ensure a clean, hygienic, organized, and professional office environment by managing tea and refreshments, maintaining the cleanliness of office common areas, supporting staff & guests, undertaking messengerial duties, monitoring hygiene standards, sanitization, stock-taking, and procurement of kitchen and toiletry supplies.
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee, drinking water, and refreshments to staff and visitors in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure beverages are prepared hygienically and according to office schedules and needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen/pantry area at all times.
- Support during meetings by preparing and serving refreshments to guests and staff.
- Clean and maintain office common areas, including the kitchen, eating area, reception, meeting rooms, washrooms, and designated office spaces.
- Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained at all times, especially in eating and food preparation areas.
- Regularly sanitize high-contact areas such as tables, countertops, door handles, sinks, kitchen appliances, and eating surfaces.
- Ensure waste bins are emptied and waste disposed of appropriately.
- Maintain the cleanliness of utensils, cups, kitchen equipment, and pantry items.
- Welcome and professionally attend to office guests and visitors when required.
- Serve guests refreshments courteously and maintain professional etiquette at all times.
- Ensure meeting rooms and visitor areas remain clean and presentable before and after meetings.
- Ensure cleanliness, order, and hygiene of the eating area throughout the day.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards before, during, and after meal times.
- Ensure eating areas remain sanitized and organized for employee use.
- Conduct regular stock-taking of kitchen supplies, cleaning materials, toiletries, refreshments, and sanitization products.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management in advance of shortages.
- Maintain proper records of issued and available supplies.
- Assist in purchasing office kitchen supplies, toiletries, cleaning products, and other consumables as approved by management.
- Ensure adequate stock of tissue paper, soap, sanitizers, tea, sugar, milk, coffee, cleaning detergents, and other office essentials at all times.
- Verify quantities and quality of purchased supplies upon delivery.
- Deliver and collect office documents, parcels, and office-related items as assigned.
- Assist with errands, photocopying, filing, and general office support duties when required.
- Support smooth day-to-day office operations through administrative assistance as assigned.
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene

- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- KCSE Certificate or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Prior experience in office cleaning, hospitality, tea preparation, or office support roles is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of hygiene, sanitization, and stock management procedures.
