Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented recent graduate from a technical institute to join our team as a Bookmaker & Picture Frame Joiner.
The ideal candidate will craft high-quality books (binding and stitching) and assemble and finish picture frames with precision and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and bind books using stitching, gluing, and hardcover binding techniques
- Operate and maintain bookbinding equipment and tools
- Cut, join, and assemble picture frames to a professional finish
- Work with materials including wood, leather, and paper
- Maintain high-quality control standards
- Follow safety and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Bookbinding, Woodworking, or a related technical field from a recognized institution
- New graduates are highly encouraged to apply
- Hands-on experience with bookbinding and/or woodworking tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good organizational and time management skills
