Our client is a market-leading organization within the paints and coatings sector, recognized for delivering high-performance solutions that support Kenya’s rapidly evolving construction landscape. As part of its strategic growth agenda, the organization seeks to appoint a Senior Sales Executive to spearhead project sales, influence specifications, and deepen partnerships across Kenya’s built environment ecosystem.

Salary

- Competitive gross salary: KES 150,000 – 200,000

- Attractive commissions on performance

- MUST OWN A CAR –FUEL AND SERVICE ALLOWANCE WILL BE OFFERED

Key Responsibilities

- Lead specification-driven sales by influencing architects, consultants, developers, and contractors across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial projects

- Identify, map, and actively convert small, medium, large, and mega construction projects from design stage through tender award and execution

- Drive sustainable revenue growth by achieving sales, margin, and specification targets aligned to annual business plans

- Position the organization as the preferred coatings solutions partner through technical selling and value-based engagement

- Coordinate cross-functionally with technical, logistics, finance, and distribution teams to ensure seamless project delivery

- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project pipelines to inform commercial strategy and decision-making

Requirements & Competencies

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

- 5–8 years’ experience in project-based or specification-driven sales within the paint or construction-related industry.

- Strong understanding of Kenya’s construction sector, procurement frameworks, and tendering processes.

- Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Strong negotiation, presentation, and influencing capability at senior levels.

- Commercially astute with a clear focus on profitable growth.

- High levels of independence, accountability, and professional integrity.
