Job Description

  • Conduct community awareness on waste segregation and proper disposal
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
  • Collect and analyse waste management data
  • Support recycling and resource recovery activities at the MRF
  • Monitor illegal dumping sites
  • Support operations at Mwakirunge dumpsite
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A certificate, or diploma, or bachelor's degree in environmental management, waste management, environmental conservation, waste handling and recycling, public health, environmental engineering, natural resources management, water and sanitation management, community development, climate change, natural resource management, environmental planning, urban planning, or any other related technical field from a recognized institution
  • Proficiency in computer application
  • Be an unemployed Kenyan graduate
  • Have not retired or exited from formal employment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Ability to work in a field environment
  • Willingness to learn and work with communities
  • Ability to prepare basic reports and maintain records
