Job Description
- Supporting environmental inspections within assigned areas
- Conduct public sensitization programmes
- Prepare inspection and compliance reports
- Identify environmental pollution and illegal dumping hotspots
- Collect environmental monitoring data
- Identify environmental pollution and illegal dumping hotspots
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements & Qualifications
- A certificate, or diploma, or bachelor's degree in environmental management, environmental law, environmental science, public health, occupational health and safety, natural resource management, waste management, environmental conservation, environmental engineering, climate change, sustainability studies, waste handling and recycling, or any other relevant technical field from a recognized institution
- Proficiency in computer application
- Be an unemployed Kenyan graduate
- Have not retired or exited from formal employment
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
- Ability to work in a field environment
- Willingness to learn and work with communities
- Ability to prepare basic reports and maintain records
