We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Head of Software Engineering to lead our engineering teams, drive technical strategy, and deliver scalable, event-driven fintech solutions while building a strong, high-performance engineering culture.
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Multi-year background at the Staff or Principal Engineer level
- Strong expertise in event-driven systems and Event Sourcing
- Proven experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Solid knowledge of modern architectures (Clean, Hexagonal, Distributed Systems)
- Cloud-native experience (GCP preferred)
- Experience leading and mentoring Engineering Team Leads
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support multiple Engineering Team Leads
- Define and drive engineering strategy and execution
- Own system architecture and technical standards
- Design and guide the implementation of scalable, resilient systems
- Champion engineering best practices, quality, and observability
- Collaborate closely with the CTO, Product, and Business teams
- Build and reinforce a strong engineering culture
