Location: Nairobi, Kenya (Headquarters)

Travel Requirement: Occasional travel to Uganda, India, and Ethiopia
Position Summary
The Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving program effectiveness, securing grants, building partnerships, and ensuring alignment with the Foundation's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee and coordinate the Foundation’s programs and activities across all countries of operation
- Provide strategic leadership and operational support to country teams
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, donor requirements, and local regulations
- Monitor program execution, budgets, and reporting across all locations
- Prepare periodic progress reports for internal and external stakeholders
Grant Acquisition & Fundraising
- Identify grant opportunities from local and international donors
- Lead grant writing and proposal development processes
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and funding agencies
- Track reporting obligations and ensure timely submissions of grant reports
Team & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with in-country coordinators to align programs with local needs
- Conduct regular check-ins and field visits to assess program impact
- Facilitate communication between Foundation teams and Craft Silicon leadership
- Represent the Foundation at events, forums, and partner meetings
Monitoring & Impact
- Develop tools and frameworks for measuring program outcomes and social impact
- Analyze data to improve program delivery and effectiveness
- Document success stories and case studies for communication and fundraising
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Public Policy, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- At least 5+ years of experience in managing nonprofit or foundation programs across multiple countries
- Proven success in grant acquisition and donor engagement
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management skills
- Experience in working with vulnerable communities, especially in education, empowerment, or digital inclusion programs
- Strong organizational and budget management abilities
- Willingness to travel to Kenya, Uganda, India, and Ethiopia on a need basis
