We’re looking for a Human Resource Officer to join our client who will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations across recruitment, employee relations, payroll, compliance, and day-to-day HR administration.
This is a hands-on role that requires someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Recruitment & Selection – Draft job ads, screen CVs, schedule interviews, and coordinate candidate communication.
- Onboarding & Induction – Guide new hires through orientation, prepare documentation, and support their integration.
- Records Management – Keep HR databases accurate and up to date (leaves, promotions, transfers, terminations).
- Payroll Support – Provide timely and accurate payroll data on attendance, overtime, and leave.
- Training & Development – Organize learning sessions, track participation, and maintain training records.
- Employee Relations – Act as a first point of contact for staff, ensuring fair and positive communication between employees and management.
- Performance Management – Support appraisal cycles and maintain performance records.
- Compliance – Ensure HR practices align with Kenyan labor laws and company policies.
- Engagement & Welfare – Plan initiatives that keep employees motivated, productive, and connected.
- Exit Management – Handle offboarding processes, exit interviews, and documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of HR experience.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
