Outdoor Sales Representative

Overall Purpose: 

The job holder will be responsible for achieving sales volume and value targets, driving market share, activating targeted accounts, trade and channel development, and managing and servicing existing outlets while prospecting and developing new accounts with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and increasing sales revenue. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieve set secondary sales targets (volume and value) by strictly adhering to a set route plan to deliver maximum distribution of our products at the retail end. 
  • Ensure the quality execution of the sales drivers, as well as availability, affordability, accessibility, and activation. 
  • Ensure distribution is achieved in assigned territory by achieving set customer call rate coverage targets, determining the number of new outlets, and expanding portfolio availability. 
  • Ensure Upselling (value brands) and cross-selling of a portfolio as well as Achieve merchandising objectives as per set segment standards both in the cold and ambient space.
  • Identify, negotiate, plan, and execute activation opportunities such as promotions and tastings with customers in line with the territory sales plan.
  • Proactively manage the cash and credit resources of the customer to drive the growth of our brands in terms of volume and value.
  • Monitor and manage company assets such as vehicles within our policies and procedures to ensure optimal use. 
  • Able to collect orders from the wholesalers for the distributor.
  • Receive, follow up, and resolve all customer queries and complaints in collaboration with the customer service team in an efficient manner.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to the territory manager to facilitate proper planning.
  • Gather market intelligence and communicate the same to management so as to enhance business.

Skills, Competencies & Qualifications

  • A minimum degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field from a reputable institution.
  • Should have 1 year of experience, preferably Fast. 
  • Be familiar with Excel. 
  • Posses ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. 
  • Be proficient in customer relationship management. 
  • Possesses the ability to work in an extremely high-pressure high-account environment. 
  • Must be hardworking and willing to work extra when needed. 
  • Have a demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively to customers. 
  • Prior experience with Van sales will be an added advantage. 
  • Available immediately.
