The objective of the position:
The Solar Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for system installation, servicing, and maintenance teams of Solar PV and energy storage systems. The successful candidates should have a very keen understanding and implementation of structural and electrical engineering concepts.
Requirements
- A Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or any other qualification with considerable experience in solar sales and installation.
- At least 2 years' experience in the solar industry, with leading solar products service providers is an added advantage.
You might have an added advantage if you have a:
- Have a T1, T2, T3, or equivalent qualification.
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in solar panel installation or a related field.
- Have knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and their components.
- Have a working knowledge of electrical fundamentals according to Occupational Safety and Health regulations.
- Are able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Have experience working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Should have excellent physical condition with the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
