QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
CPA Part II (or ACCA equivalent); full qualification is an added advantage.
2. Minimum 1-2 years' experience with an Insurance Agency.
3. Working knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, and tax laws (PAYE, VAT, withholding tax)
4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced Excel.
5. Hands-on experience in ledger reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and budgeting/variance analysis.
6. High accuracy and attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
7. Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with departments, auditors, and regulators.
9. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
