Procurement Officer

Location: Nairobi

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking to recruit a highly organized and results-oriented Procurement Officer to oversee the sourcing and procurement of goods and services, supplier management, contract negotiations, cost control, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Purchasing & Supplies Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
2. Professional certification, such as CPSP(K), CIPS, or KISM membership, is an added advantage.
3. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
4. Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
5. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
6. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
7. High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities in line with company policies and procedures.
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
• Process purchase orders and monitor timely delivery.
• Maintain procurement records and prepare procurement reports.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and support tendering processes.
