We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Audit Assistant with at least 1 year of audit experience to support audit assignments within a fast-paced, inventory-driven retail environment.
- Assist in executing internal audit assignments across branches and warehouses
- Perform stock counts, inventory verification, and reconciliation
- Review internal controls around inventory management, sales, and procurement
- Identify control gaps, discrepancies, and potential fraud indicators
- Support the preparation of audit working papers and reports
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations
- Participate in branch visits and operational audits
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in audit (internal or external)
- Strong understanding of inventory controls and stock management
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel and audit documentation
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and analytical skills
1. Experience working in a retail or FMCG environment
2. Exposure to Odoo ERP
3. Progress towards professional certification (CPA, ACCA, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to travel for branch audits
