Cake City, a leading pastry and confectionery, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated procurement lead to drive local procurement efforts with a focus on cost optimization, effective supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing, while maintaining a consistent and reliable supply to support production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, contracts, and service level agreements
- Drive cost savings initiatives across all local procurement categories
- Ensure continuous and uninterrupted supply in line with production plans
- Source, develop, and manage local suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, and services
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance, pricing trends, and savings initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or a Related Field
- Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply qualification preferred
- Three to Five years of procurement experience (fast-moving consumer goods environment preferred)
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and local market knowledge
- Results-driven, hands-on, and execution-focused professional
