Our client operates a manufacturing facility in an industrial area in Nairobi. They manufacture high-quality aluminium products for both new and renovated buildings. They have retained our services to support the hiring process for the positions below

Stores Assistant (Stores Management)

The store assistant will have direct responsibility for managing a busy technical store- placing required orders as per production requirements, verifying and receiving items from suppliers, ensuring accurate records of items in storage, inventory management, bin/ rack management, re-order levels management, stock taking, issuance of store items, support in procurement process and ensuring availability of stores items at all times. 

Required qualifications include:

  • minimum of a diploma-level qualification in stores/ supply chain management, 
  • minimum of 3 years of experience running a busy technical store, 
  • experience in handling store management systems with good Excel skills, 
  • proactive, and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Instore Sales/Receptionist (Showroom-Based)

The in-store sales assistant/ receptionist will be based in the showroom. 

Key responsibilities include: 

receiving clients, identifying client needs, and providing available solutions based on client needs. 

The ideal candidate will have a:

  • minimum of diploma level qualification in sales/ marketing, 
  • 3 years of showroom/ instore sales experience, 
  • must be professional in approach, pleasant and confident, with excellent communication skills, 
  • able to handle clients skillfully, with care and professionalism
