Salary: KES 90,0000 - 120,000 Gross per month
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Supervisor to support
procurement operations for a large-scale organization. The successful candidate will manage
supplier relationships, oversee procurement processes, and ensure the timely sourcing of materials to
support seamless business operations.
- Oversee procurement activities for assigned product categories.
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and ensure timely supply.
- Monitor supplier performance and participate in supplier evaluation processes.
- Address logistics challenges and urgent purchasing needs efficiently.
- Ensure procurement procedures comply with company policies and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in large organizations or manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing high-value procurement categories.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with a good command of English.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
