Why “Prosper Global”?

Our new name better reflects who we are today and the future we're working toward as we relentlessly pursue prosperity for all.

"Prosper" reflects our belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue a full life on their own terms. When every community can prosper, all of humanity moves forward.

"Global" reflects how we work, bringing together local knowledge and global resources to help tackle the urgent challenges communities face and the conditions that cause them.

Our new logo brings together two universally recognized symbols: an arrow and a heart. It represents compassion in action and our collective commitment to helping people chart a path out of crisis and towards a better future.

Same organization. New name.

While our name and logo are different, what you know us for remains the same. The work we do, our values, and the communities we serve won't change. We continue to:

Moving forward together

In the coming days and weeks, you'll see Prosper Global rolling out across our websites, social channels, and communications. Because we operate around the world, this process will happen gradually. During this time, you may see both Mercy Corps and Prosper Global used in key communications, and some of our country offices and legal entities will continue using the Mercy Corps name while they complete local legal and regulatory requirements. We remain one organization throughout the transition.
