Role Description
Outrival HR Solutions & Consultancies Ltd is recruiting for the position of a Commercial Lead (Printing Press) on behalf of our reputable client, a leading player in the Print Media industry based in Kinshasa, DRC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth across all service lines, including offset and digital printing, packaging, branding, large format production, promotional materials, and custom printing solutions. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a strong background in B2B sales, client relationship management, and media/print production services, capable of turning ideas into income and building a sustainable pipeline of business opportunities.
- Develop and implement a robust commercial strategy that drives growth across all printing service categories.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and sectors for expansion (e.g. NGOs, government, private sector).
- Create and implement pricing structures, sales targets, and discount policies that align with market demand and company goals.
- Lead all direct sales efforts to secure large-scale printing contracts, tender bids, and corporate accounts.
- Oversee key account management, ensuring client satisfaction, repeat business, and upselling opportunities.
- Develop competitive proposals, quotations, and service packages tailored to diverse client needs.
- Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, trade shows, and industry forums.
- Ensure consistency in service quality, turnaround time, and customer engagement.
- Introduce seasonal and thematic campaigns to boost sales and client engagement.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, procurement officers, NGOs, embassies, and government institutions, establishing long-term service agreements with recurring clients.
- Resolve client issues promptly while maintaining professionalism and protecting the company’s reputation.
- Lead and mentor the sales and customer service team, setting performance targets and KPIs.
- Coordinate closely with the production and dispatch departments to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and within scope.
- Monitor and report on commercial performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, Printing Technology, or related field.
- A diploma or certification in sales, customer service, or printing production will be an added advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial or sales leadership role in printing, advertising, packaging, or media industries.
- Proven track record in growing revenue and managing B2B client portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of commercial printing processes and services (offset, digital, packaging, etc.)
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
- High level of initiative, problem-solving ability, and team leadership
