Mandatory Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Cumulative service period of Six (6) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been in the grade of Artisan II or in a comparable position;
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (Plain) or its equivalent qualification;
- National Trade Test II Certificate in any of the following areas of specialization: Carpentry & Joinery, Masonry, Tailoring, Plumbing, Welding & Fabricating, Electrical or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications; and shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
