- Conduct clinical assessments and prescribe treatment for all patients professionally.
- Refer patients requiring specialized or advanced care.
- Provide healthcare services in compliance with Kenya clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Attend and participate in CMEs and staff training when called upon.
- Provide health education to Kakenya’s Dream school girls as assigned.
- Carry out medical and minor surgical procedures per guidelines.
- Ensure clinic treatment rooms are well-equipped with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Cover the clinic during weekends and attend emergency cases at night when on call.
- Document all patient records in the patient data system while upholding confidentiality.
- Participate in monthly program outreach activities as assigned.
- Uphold and promote Infection Prevention and Control practices and medical waste management.
- Ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Education / Academic Qualification
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
Professional Qualification
- Kenya Registered Clinical Officer.
- Active on the Clinical Officers Council (COC) Retention Register.
Relevant Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
