Technical Sales Executive - Industrial Equipment

Location: Nairobi & Mombasa

Retainer: Ksh. 40k plus Commission

As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and providing technical expertise to support sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities in industrial sectors.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by providing ongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Understand the technical aspects of our industrial equipment solutions and provide technical guidance and support to clients and the sales team.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities in the industrial sectors.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment and related technologies.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
