CHEF/COOK

Our client based in Nairobi is looking for a Chef/Cook who will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily kitchen activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure food is prepared on timely manner according customers' order at all times.
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly. Check the quality of ingredients.
  • Ensure appealing food presentation.
  • Ensure proper kitchen hygiene at all times. Qualifications:
  • Food Safety Knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certificate in Food and Beverage Management.
  • Prior Hospitality working experience.
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
