Our client is a leading player in the Health and Wellness sector and is seeking a passionate, intelligent, and customer-centric Telesales representative to join their organization.
About The Role:
As a Telesales representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client to achieve sales targets that will contribute to the overall organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Client relationship management:
• Understand the various customer segments, product portfolios and credit status.
• Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product back in stock, new product, changes in pricing, packaging, formulation amongst others.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored made solutions.
• Handle customer complaints and grievances in way that preserves the company’s reputation.
• Answer questions about products or the company when required by client.
Product Knowledge:
• Be aware of the range of brands and products in the organization’s portfolio.
• Keep abreast with the latest market trends, customer feedback and other relevant factors.
Sales and marketing:
• Up-sell / Cross-sell when appropriate.
• Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as set in the KPI’s/KRA’s.
• Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.
• Present and promote products to prospective customers.
• Follow up on leads and maintain communication with prospects through the sales process.
Administrative:
• Be aware of the various account customers and customer order management processes including checking for outstanding balances or overdue accounts.
• Be aware of product returns policies and procedures.
• Learn and understand the CRM, and SOP processes and quickly adapt to the organization’s requirements.
• Key in orders accurately from the orders received via email, phone calls, and messages using the required tools and processes. Ensure that all orders received via SFA are synched and taken to stores for further processing.
• Keep records of calls, sales, and any other activity that proves useful.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Tele-sales representative in a similar industry.
• Diploma in sales and marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role/organization.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of CRM or SFA.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
• Strong ethics, reliability, and integrity.
• Background in Nutrition will be an added advantage.
• Team player.
