Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
1. Preparing and overseeing the implementation of Human Resource strategies, policies, and programs/work plans.
2. Establishing and managing an efficient effective, professional, and sustainable Human Resource system.
3. Preparing a schedule of duties.
4. Updating records of staff training and development programs.
5. Ensuring implementation of computerized human resources management infrastructure; and managing all industrial relations issues.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
1. Have served for a minimum period five of (5) years of relevant work.
2. Have a bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines - Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
3. Be proficient in computer applications.
4. Membership in a relevant professional body
5. Have demonstrated merit and ability in work performance; and
6. Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
